I love how the Peach Pepper Jam glaze on this ham just really takes the flavor to another level! It's sticky, sweet, and juicy and the perfect addition to any baked ham!

Ingredients
-
Southern Roots Sisters Peach Pepper Jam
-
1 ready to eat ham
-
Brown Sugar
-
1/2 cup of water or apple juice
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 F and remove packaging from "ready to eat" or "fully cooked" ham and place down in a roasting pan with 1/2 c of water or apple juice. Cover with foil.
Cook covered at 325 F for 15 minutes per pound, but remove it before the last 30 minutes. After you have removed the ham, turn up the heat to 425 F.
For the glaze, I find it easiest to remove about half the jar of Southern Roots Sisters Peach Pepper Jam and pop it in the microwave for 15-25 seconds and give it a stir to really help its spreadability. Then take a basting brush and apply the glaze generously all over the ham, then sprinkle a fine layer of brown sugar all over the ham. You may throw away the foil or save for later at this point.
Place glazed ham back in the oven at 425 for the final 30 minutes of the cooking process. When the ham is done, the spiral slices will have opened up and darkened and you will see a delicious shiny glaze all over the ham. Don't forget to save the juice and hambone for a delicious pot of beans!

This would be delicious with our Apricot Pepper Jam as well!
